The difference between HDPE pipe and PE pipe

PE pipe is divided into: HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipe
                                      MDPE (medium density polyethylene) pipe
                                      LDPE (low density polyethylene) pipe

Therefore, hdpe pipe is a kind of PE pipe. HDPE pipe is a replacement product for traditional steel pipes and PVC drinking water pipes, but ordinary PE pipes cannot. The strength of HDPE pipe is 9 times that of ordinary polyethylene pipe (PE pipe).

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipes are mainly used for: municipal engineering water supply systems, building indoor water supply systems, outdoor buried water supply systems and residential quarters, plant buried water supply systems, old pipeline repairs, water treatment engineering piping systems, gardens, Industrial water pipes for irrigation and other fields, etc.
MDPE (medium density polyethylene) pipes are only suitable for transporting gaseous artificial coal gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas.
LDPE (low-density polyethylene) pipes are hoses.

HDPE pipes are resistant to corrosion by a variety of chemical media, and the chemicals in the soil will not cause any degradation to the pipes. Polyethylene is an electrical insulator, so it will not rot, rust or electrochemical corrosion; in addition, it will not promote the growth of algae, bacteria or fungi. The flexibility of HDPE pipeline makes it easy to bend. In engineering, obstacles can be bypassed by changing the direction of the pipeline. In many cases, the flexibility of the pipeline can reduce the amount of pipe fittings and reduce installation costs.
